Now you’re probably wondering what kind of person wrote these stories. Well, going all the way back to my childhood, books were always magical to me. When I was six, I made a little booth with a card table, like a lemonade-stand. But instead of drinks, I sold books I created. I wrote them in pencil on ruled paper, drew the illustrations and cover art with crayons, and stapled them together. I started out at 5¢ a book, but it was only when I lowered the price down to free that a little boy in my class came by on his bicycle and took them all.

From that day on, I never stopped writing for fun, but I veered off from professional writing due to the responsibilities and time restraints of a single mom. That was until I was introduced through books, to the woman who became my favorite historical character, Boudica. The Celtic Warrior Queen motivated me to write professionally. I love history and in reading a book about the dark ages, I came across the rebel queen. She inspired me so much, I started jotting down notes, but they were fiction, visions of me involved in the Boudica revolt. Before I knew it, I had accidentally written a rough draft for a novel. And I’ve been writing books ever since.

When not writing, I love to read, watch movies, and attend local comic cons. I’m currently working on a sci-fi comedy romance series with a Celtic goddess as the heroine.
